Research experts supporting health modelling work

Health, social care and policing staff are being invited to join a project that will see them undertaking advanced modelling, simulation and analysis work with support from research experts.

Institute for Health Research Applied Research Collaboration in the South West Peninsula (known as PenARC), is preparing for the fifth round of its prestigious Health Service Modelling Associates (HSMA) programme for health, social care and policing staff, in October 2022.

HSMAs are released from their substantive roles for a day a week to undertake advanced modelling, simulation and analysis work on a project important to their organisation. They receive mentoring, support and training from our operational research team, PenCHORD, whilst being supported by an HSMA Workplace Supervisor, a senior member of their own organisation.  All training is fully-funded and there will be no cost-expectation for the organisation involved.  Find out more here.

PenARC is holding a Virtual Open Day on Tuesday, 21 June, from 9.30am-12.30pm for potential applicants and supervisors.  To book a place, or to be added to the HSMA mailing list, fill in this form.
